Food Production Facility - Treatment Operations

G3 was contacted by a corn and fried snack food producer in Tennessee who had purchased a mothballed production facility from another company and was facing fines from the City due to non-compliant discharge.  Although the facility had an existing wastewater treatment system, the previous owner's had made numerous "improvements"  to the equipment before abandoning the facility and removing all as-built and operational information.  G3 spent a week onsite rebuilding equipment, replacing parts, and developing standard operation procedures for the equipment.  G3 then worked with the local POTW to negotiate discharge permit requirements and help the new Owner with permit compliance document development.  To date, the facility has been able to avoid additional wastewater violations and fines.
