Water/Wastewater Project Manager (10+ Years Experience)
Job Description:
G3 Water Engineers is looking for an experienced Project Manager with a thorough understanding of how to deliver municipal and/or industrial water and wastewater projects from marketing through project development, design, and commissioning. This Project Manager will interface directly with clients, oversee project design, and manage engineering budgets over six figures in value. Must have a strong technical background and the ability to seek new project opportunities, write proposals, negotiate contracts, and manage subconsultants. Strong interpersonal and client management and time management skills are a must. Ability to work in our Boise, Idaho office is preferred but exceptions may be made, especially for those who can bring their own clients. Part time employment may be considered.

Job Summary:
Water/Wastewater Project Manager will play a pivotal role in delivering projects to a range of clients in the municipal and industrial sectors by interfacing with the client and driving our internal project team toward successful outcomes. Applicants must have a strong technical background in water and/or wastewater process design, as well as sufficient experience coordinating the completion of project deliverables. This individual will perform marketing efforts including proposal writing and conference attendance to grow our client list. A Project Manager with G3 will take ultimate ownership over project delivery and client satisfaction.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or equivalent is required.

Licensed Professional Engineer
-
Preferred familiarity AutoCAD products such as Civil 3D, Plant 3D, and/or Revit
-
Preferred proficiency in hydraulic and process design programs such as BioWin, WaterCAD, or Bentley Flowmaster
-
Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage a team of engineers and subconsultants.

Outstanding attention to detail

Establish and maintain strong relationships with Industrial and Municipal clients
-
Take responsibility for marketing tasks including seeking new project opportunities, proposal writing, and conference attendance,
-
Strong project delivery skills including QA/QC, and the ability to manage multiple project scopes, budgets, and project teams
-
Supervise and mentor staff
-
Ability to travel to out-of-state client sites for marketing purposes up to six times per year.

Proficient in construction support capabilities, answering RFI’s, reviewing submittals, and coordinating Change Orders
